Dreaming of strawberries

My youngest loves strawberries, and so do I. Hubby likes them just fine but doesn't crave it like me and Billy. Jai, our eldest, doesn't particularly like them at all. Ever wonder how strawberry bush looks like?



These were taken at my hubby's boss house. Most of the strawberries haven't ripened yet.



These strawberry bushes have grown on the small hill by the house. I can imagine just opening the kitchen door and walking up to the bushes and helping yourself to a sweet juicy snack. I miss living in a house with a yard/garden.

Snow, Sand and Madness in March

A lot of people have been saying it's spring here in Korea. Really now? This is what you can see outside my window a week ago.



Even the local newspapers have been reporting the advent of spring with pictures of residents enjoying a stroll under blooming trees and shrubs. I wanna know where that place is in Korea because this is what our neighborhood looked like a couple of nights ago.



And now, we're being bombarded with sand from the Gobi desert all the way from China. The duststorm that came yesterday was one of the worst since the early '80s. Sigh, it's madness here.
