Yeah, that's how I feel. Crud. I woke up with a scratchy throat, aching head and bloody nostrils. To top it all off, I keep sneezing (launching pea-sized pellets of bloody you-know-whats). It figures... after teaching sick, snotty hacking kids for two straight days now, I would end up with the @$#@#^%! germs too.
Don't get me wrong, I love my part-time jobs. There is a certain pleasure in teaching kids and watching them learn through your lesson. The downside is that here in Korea, parents send their sick kids to school. One time, when the chicken pox virus was rampant, letters were issued from the schools to beg parents to keep their pox-laden kids at home.
This unfortunately happen to me yesterday, one of my little girls had a fever, couldn't stop coughing and was really sick. AND HER PARENTS MADE HER GO TO MY CLASS. Geesh, I make Billy stay at home at the slightest hint of fever or tummy ache. So, I had to make my sick kid just rest in the class and not participate at all. I really feel so sorry for korean kids and how their parents push them so hard to study.
I guess my posts on the Children's Park and my unfortunate elephant incident must have to wait. I need to drag my sorry butt back to bed.

Aww, poor girl!
Have some adobo and take a good rest.
Oh dear ((((Doddie)))),
I hope you get better soon!
MinaBird :)
Take care, Doddie! I hated that, too when I worked in Korea. Stay home! Just stay home! Don't make me sick, too! It happens to me here in Japan, too though - one of my students came in hacking and coughing last night, and here I am with a sore throat tonight. Lots of hot lemon and early to bad, I guess.
