Living for almost a decade in Korea has opened my eyes on the vast chasm that separates Korea from the Philippines with regards to technology and advancement. Forgot about smart phones and HDTVs, heck even something as simple as the poor guy who directs traffic for those public road works is advanced.
You see it is not a guy but a mannequin with a robotic arm going up and down with a light flare to signal cars that there are road works up ahead. For several years I wanted to take a picture of this awesome sight. Well, after getting our car I finally had my wish. Presenting Mr. Roboto, the Traffic Director.
