A Very Naughty Folk Museum

It's the second day of the free tour "N16/17/18 Free 2D trip. Wando, Buan Fest, Temple, Island. Museum"
 sponsored by Kim's Free Travel on Facebook last May 4. For this day, we first went to Minhwa Museum in Gangjin island. Minhwa means Korean folk art. It was cool learning about the history of a lot of the folk art that I have been seeing all the years around the country.

This was the side of the museum.

It was time to go inside the museum. Thank goodness as the weather was cold and grey AND DRIZZLING (again).

Then it is time to go another museum complex. This one where we went had a lot of ceramics and history of ceramic works in Korea. The next one where we are going have more folk art paintings and such.

Finally we are at the main Minhwa museum. We had to sit through a funny video explaining Minhwa, Korean Folk Art and its history. In the video, there's an annoying magpie who screeches Minhwa! Minhwa! every minute or two. By mid-video, everyone was mimicking the Minhwa magpie (face-palm).

Like school children, we were instructed to pay attention to the video with the annoying magpie host.

They had graphic paintings of sex positions plastered all over the wall.

One can even solve jigsaw puzzles and get rewarded with a moving GIF of two couples in traditional Korean hanboks, doing the ugly bump in various poses.

Yes, they had a Sex-Themed section of the museum. There were a lot of giggling and guffaws as we looked at the risque and some very graphic, um, erotic art. It was very interesting. Soon it was time to go.
