The free tour paid for all the group's entrance fees. It costs about 9,000 won for adults and 6,000 for teens (younger kids pay 4,000). The expo also had several food trucks that looked really interesting (but we couldn't get any food since we were on a tight schedule to see all the exhibits under the huge domes).

This seaweed seller is so cute. LOL |
The expo was located at a port and I didn't hesitate to take pics of the marine boats docked there.
Before we knew it, we had to pile into our tour bus to go to our next part of the tour - the Wando Tower.
There was a nice hike up to the tower, with colorful designs on the wall.

That's the seaweed expo down there. We can hear the old ajeosshis (Korean uncles) singing loudly on karaoke. |
Finally, we came up the tower. It was a bit rainy so looking out from the tower, everything was grey and drizzly. Thank goodness for the coffeeshop up there where we got hot lattes and teas.
After spotting several islands, including Jeju island, we headed down and left to go to our accommodations for the night. The next part of our trip begins at the Minhwa Folk Museum. But that, my friends, is another blog post.
